I have decided to resurrect this blog!
I don't think anyone would even remember what this blog was even for back in 2013/14, so i'll use this post as my "re-introduction" of sorts.
You can refer to me formally as Laine Chinensy. I go by "Eru" online nowadays, for short.
More than a decade ago (-'09/10-ish), I started my music stint as a hobbyist composer for D&D campaigns. I mostly did horror/atmospheric and ambient 'soundscapes', and eventually ventured into doing noise/experimental stuff. I have used multiple pseudonyms and collaborated with other artists in the past and i'm sure most of my old music is still accessible somewhere online, but due to personal reasons, I will not be naming my old project/s here.
Around 2016 until late 2020, I intermittently released music under the pseudonym "Seiji's Doll" to focus on electronic, some post-rock influenced stuff, and general synthesizer-based music.
Nowadays (2021--), I started to veer away a bit from electronic music, to focus on orchestral/soundtrack-inspired music.
To distinguish my orchestral music from my electronic releases, I have decided to release music now under two pseudonyms:
Basically, I will be using the pseudonym "Laine Chinensy" for my orchestral/cinematic/soundtrack-inspired works. I will continue using "Seiji's Doll" for experimental electronic/synth-based work.

Since my music releases are already found in my bandcamp/soundcloud pages, I will be using this blog mainly for random rants and updates.
